Summer has always been a time when many American families enjoy a vacation away from it all.
By car, by airplane, by bus or by rail, they make their way to destinations near and far for a bit of fun and relaxation before returning to the daily grind.
The last few years have interrupted that pattern somewhat. First it was the COVID-19 pandemic and then, as the virus restrictions and concerns started to give way, inflation came calling.
Now, high gasoline prices has many thinking twice about taking a long road trip. The airlines have seen a rash of flight cancellations that make some travelers wary of taking to the skies..
We want to know what you think. Have you cancelled, delayed or changed summer vacation plans because of gasoline prices or airline woes? Are you more likely to vacation close to home or are you still planning a major trip?
