TEXARKANA, Texas -- Texarkana College Foundation recently received a $4,000 donation to the Moore Family Education Scholarship from the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.

George and Carolyn Moore, along with TC President Dr. Jason Smith, attended the check presentation.

"We are so grateful to the Moore family for their faithful educational service and for continuing to give back to our students through scholarships," said Katie Andrus, TC Foundation director. "They truly understand the value of higher education and have helped so many students through this fund."

George and Carolyn Moore are longtime educators and administrators from local school districts. George has continued his service to education as a member of TC's Board of Trustees.
