Five local educators were recently honored as Region 8 Education Service Center Administrators of the year.
The annual recognitions are given out by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association awarded the TEPSAN of the Year and TEPSA Assistant Principal of the Year. The Texas Association of Secondary School Principals awarded the high school and middle school principals and assistant principals of the year.
The Region 8 honorees are:
• TEPSAN of the Year – Lesia Lewis – West Elementary (Daingerfield-Lonestar ISD)
• TEPSA AP of the Year – Samuel Coston – New Boston Elementary (New Boston ISD)
• High School Principal of the Year – Nancy Rinehart, Atlanta High School
• High School Assistant Principal of the Year – Adrian George, Redwater High School
• Middle School Principal of the Year – Colby Boyce, Atlanta Middle School
• Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year – Carolyn Oliver, Liberty-Eylau Middle School
