Restoration House of Texarkana, 2202 College Drive, needs Christian volunteer coaches to provide one-to-one help with personal problems. One hour per week commitment time is necessary. Runnin WJ Ranch, is a Christian-based non-profit organization, looking for caring individuals (14 years and older) to donate their time to help children and adults who are challenged. We are in need of horse leaders, side walkers and ranch maintenance assistance. Mandatory Volunteer Training sessions will be from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Aug. 26 or 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 28, and classes will begin Sept. 18.

Salvation Army needs volunteers to help sort, hang and price donated clothing at the Family Thrift Store. Volunteers are also needed to greet customers, straighten the sales floor and put out merchandise 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
