TEXARKANA, Ark. — Texarkana Water Utilities has rescinded a boil water order issued Monday.
"An adequate disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system and the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink," according to a TWU news release Tuesday morning.
A lightning strike in the area of 6800 Genoa Road caused a water main break, prompting the boil order.
