PARIS, Texas -- Liberty-Eylau scrapped out a couple of runs but couldn't get even with Celina in Game 2 of the Region II-4A semifinal baseball series, the Bobcats extending their win streak to 26 in a row with a 4-2 victory Friday at Chisum's Mustang Field.

RJ Ruais, a Baylor commitment, scattered four Leopard hits and needed 99 pitches to work all seven innings on the mound for Celina (30-3-1). Ruais had six strikeouts, walked two and allowed two runs -- one earned.

WT Jones took the loss for L-E, which ends its season at 21-13-1. Jones threw 84 pitches in six innings, allowed eight hits and four runs, struck out three and walked two.

Ruais retired 12 of the first 13 Leopards he faced before issuing a 4-pitch walk to Britain Pipes to start the fifth. Xander Worthey ripped a single to right, and Dylan Garton put down a bunt for a hit, but the ball was overthrown at first to allow Pipes to score.

A double play brought in the second L-E run but cleared the bases, as well. A strikeout ended the inning, leaving the Bobcats up 3-2.

Celina got one back in the bottom of the fifth. Ruais singled to start the inning, advanced to second when he tagged up on a flyout in foul territory, went to third on Ty Marthiljohni's infield single and scored on a wild pitch.

The Bobcats broke onto the scoreboard in the second after a 1-out walk to Jackson Rooker. Major Brignon plated the initial run with his line-drive double to left-center, and Caden Mitchell made it 2-0 with a ground-rule double to right-center field. Mitchell scored on Zack Henderson's 2-out single to right to make it 3-0.

Worthey had two hits for the Leopards.
