TEXARKANA, Ark. -- The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service will host its last pesticide application training of the year at the Miller County Office Extension Classroom.

The class will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at 1007 Jefferson Ave. The class will cost $20 to attend, along with $45 for a five-year license in pesticide application.

Applying pesticides requires education and training to ensure safe and effective use for crops, the Extension Service says.
