TEXARKANA, Texas -- Up to 40 SWEPCO customers could be without electricity for a few hours Monday as the company replaces a pole.
The power outage is scheduled for 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., which will give workers time to remove the existing utility pole and install a new one, said Michelle Marcotte, SWEPCO spokesperson in Shreveport. The work will be on Waterall Street, but customers along West Fifth to Seventh streets can expect to be without power.
SWEPCO conducted a similar project early Thursday on Richmond Road. The work brought the loss of power from 8 a.m. to noon for about 40 customers in the areas of Moores Lane and Sidney Drive, Marcotte said.
