The Texarkana Gazette and sister WEHCO Media, Inc., newspapers will join other papers across the country in dropping the Dilbert cartoon strip.
The decision was made Saturday afternoon by Publisher Eliza Hussman Gaines in the aftermath of racial remarks made by strip creator Scott Adams on a YouTube video.
The cartoon strip will appear for a few days, including today, because of the newspaper production process and the time needed to find a replacement.
