TEXARKANA, Texas -- Three people have been arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a conflict over property in Bowie County spilled to a house in the 3700 block of Magnolia Street.

At about 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 23, Texarkana, Texas, police officers received a call about a disturbance at the Magnolia Street residence.

The two victims said that Ashley Sprayberry, her daughter Madison Sprayberry, and boyfriend John Thompson pulled up to their house. The victims said that Ashley Sprayberry had driven Madison Sprayberry and Thompson to the Magnolia Street residence.

An argument ensued about items a victim allegedly took without permission when he moved out of Sprayberry's home.

Madison Sprayberry allegedly jumped on one of the victims, started kicking her while she was on the ground, and hit her with an item believed to be brass knuckles. Thompson allegedly hit the other victim several times in the face with a baseball bat.

Both victims were injured and had to have several stitches in their heads and faces, according to police.

After completing her investigation a few days later, Detective Tabitha Smith obtained felony assault warrants against the three suspects, and Bowie County deputies arrested them at their home in the county. They were booked into the Bi-State jail, where bond was set at $100,000 for each of them.
