TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Juvenile detention and transportation both received financing during a Miller County Quorum Court meeting Monday.

During the meeting, which took place at the county's Extension Office at 1007 Jefferson Ave., justices agreed to spend $100,000 on juvenile offender transportation, as well as $250,000 on detention meals and lodging.

Since the County closed its Juvenile Detention Center last year, county officials have been sending juveniles to the JDC in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
