TEXARKANA, Texas -- Pleasant Grove defeated Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill, 3-1, Tuesday in varsity boys soccer action at Hawk Stadium.
The victory came on Pleasant Grove's Senior Night. Nine Hawk seniors were honored during the match.
Andrew Hutcheson, Landon Beck and Hayes Lawrence all recorded a goal for Pleasant Grove, with Bennett Solomon etching an assist.
"It's so easy to celebrate this group of seniors," said Hawks coach Christa Henry "They should all be proud of the legacy they have built.
I feel truly blessed to have been able to coach them, and watch them grow as players and young men. They will truly be missed."
Pleasant Grove seniors include: Lincoln Jackson, Chance Tutolo, Krish Thapa, Whit Miller, Jake Welch, Luke Porterfield, Addison Burgin, Peyton LeGrand and Christian Gullatt.
