TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texarkana Museums System will kick off April with a community event for children at the Ace of Clubs House.
The ninth annual Easter Egg Hunt is slated for 1 p.m. April 1. Children up to age 12 are invited to look for decorated eggs scattered across the lawn at the historic house, 420 Pine St.
The event is free, and registration is not required.
"After the Easter egg hunt, crafts will be available for the children to participate in and take home with them," Ace of Clubs docent Dusty Baker said in a news release.
The Easter bunny will be on hand for photos, Baker said.
