HATFIELD, Ark. -- Members of Boy Scouts Troop 3 in Texarkana, Texas, recently completed two service projects at Pioneer Campgrounds.
Led by Scoutmaster Tommy Kelems, the Scouts cleared trails, built a fence, cut firewood and installed signs throughout the camp. In their down time, the Scouts played darts and corn hole, rode bikes and swam in Twomile Creek.
The owner of Pioneer Campgrounds, Matt Foust, offers the camp to all Scouts and scouters free of charge for weekday or weekend camping experiences. Troop 3 was the fourth Boy Scouts troop to attend this year.
