TEXARKANA, Texas -- CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System has selected a vice president of mission integration.
David Karchut's main function in the position is to work with the hospital's spiritual care team to provide support to patients, families, staff and volunteers, along with advancing the system's mission and values and interacting with local church leaders.
Karchut has worked with the CHRISTUS system in Santa Rosa, California, and at other health care systems in the department of mission integration. He holds a master's degree in divinity and of theology.
