Prep Tennis: Arkansas High sweeps Hot Springs and White Hall, moves to 10-0 on season

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Arkansas High's tennis teams hit the road Tuesday and took down Hot Springs and White Hall to tack on two more conference victories.

Arkansas High (10-0) remains unbeaten on the season, after sweeping Hot Springs, 7-0, and White Hall, 4-0.

The Lady Backs won their first match and lost their second, defeating Hot Springs by a 2-1 score before falling to White Hall.

Veteran players Makayli Harvey and Rachel Massey won in doubles while Harvey also earned a win in singles to lead the girls varsity team to victory against Hot Springs. Sophomores Alexis Peoples and Markenivia Lewis also earned a victory by a score of 8-2 against White Hall.

Arkansas High will be back in action on Tuesday when it travels to the Texas side to take on Texas High's JV squad.
