TEXARKANA, Texas -- Pleasant Grove's Ellis Miller had a team-high 13 points and nine kills to help lead the Lady Hawks to a 25-17, 25-18, 25-19 victory against New Boston on Tuesday night.
With the win, the Lady Hawks move to 23-5 on the season.
Julianne Naples added 12 points and 23 set assists, while teammates Lauren Stewart and Madison Carpenter combined for 21 kills in the win.
Pleasant Grove's JV Black squad won, 25-10, 25-7, with Emori Huddleston serving 14 points and Phoenix Moya adding 11 points.
The Gold team also won, 25-11, 25-8. Lily Cannon finished with 13 points for the Lady Hawks.
On Friday, Pleasant Grove will host Detroit (25-4), a hot-handed Class 2A program that has dropped just 15 sets all season and has posted wins against Texarkana region teams like James Bowie, Redwater, Maud, Daingerfield and Linden-Kildare.
