TEXARKANA, Ark-- For the Sake of One is teaming up with Texas Pioneer Foundation to host its largest fundraiser of the year.
The sixth annual Hope Banquet will be at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Crossties Event Venue.
The local nonprofit's vision is for every child to have a stable home and for every family to have the tools to thrive, according to a news release.
"We want to share God's love with local children and families by providing emotional, physical and spiritual support while serving as a hub to connect, equip and empower all stakeholders in the child welfare community," Assistant Director Alyssa Beach said.
Beach said the annual banquet had been held at Ramage Farm in Hooks but was moved to a new location in anticipation of a larger crowd.
"The night will consist of a quick update on what For the Sake of One is doing in the community and a delicious meal from Chef on the Run," Beach said.
The guest speaker will be Ryan North, host of "The Empowered Parent" podcast and childhood trauma expert.
Beach said community members or businesses can sponsor the night and purchase either a table of eight or of four.
The banquet is open to the public. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Forthesakeofone.com.
