RUN THE LINE | A&M-Texarkana runner wins annual half marathon

David Hernandez, of Greensboro, Texas, works his way along State Line Avenue, just north of the federal building downtown, as he enters the final stretch of the Run the Line Half Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, in Texarkana. Hernandez was the overall winner with a time of 1 hour, 13 minutes and 21.86 seconds. This was his first year to run the race. Hernandez is a sophomore member of the cross country team at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. The race, a fundraiser for Partnership for a Pathway, attracted nearly 500 runners.
