TEXARKANA, Texas - The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council's 32nd annual Juried Exhibit is only up for a couple more days through Saturday.
The exhibition, which includes artists from all over the country and beyond, has also been featured on the TRAHC Facebook page for an occasional, online showcase with videos narrated by Amanda Langley, TRAHC's visual arts assistant.
If anyone wants to see the art show in person, the Regional Arts Center is open noon to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday this week.
And art lovers who wish to see the short videos and hear Langley explain some of the finer points of the artwork included in this year's show should visit Facebook.com/trahc.
Artists like Polly Cook and Rudy Ellis, who use mixed media, or Marshall Alam and John Puffer, who are represented by photography, are among the several artists featured in these short videos. Videos approach the work with a thematic focus, such as landscapes or work using pencil and pen.
This year's show features 40 works, including artists from several states and two countries, one artist hailing from Canada. Tammy Harrington, an art professor at the University of the Ozarks, was this year's judge.
