A Texas Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year crosses the border to play Texarkana, Arkansas, this Friday night with a Whiskey River Country concert starting at 8 p.m. The Houston-born Jon Stork found inspiration from Robert Earl Keen and Pat Green. After moving around, Stork returned home to the Houston area to hone his craft as a live performer, then put his material in album form, first with "In Your Radio" and then, about a year and a half ago, with "Radio Cowboy." Singles like "Rodeo Blues," "One Night Stand" and "Facts and Lies" have won him fans and Texas radio success alike. More info: Facebook.com/WhiskeyRiverCountry.
