HER | Six THS soccer players make All-District team

The end of the school year brings the release of All-District honors for several Texas High School soccer players.

Six Tigers were noted by District 15-5A:

Janie Rounds and Logan Pilgreen made the 1st Team.

Janie also made the Academic All-State Team.

Ellison Davis and Sarah Cook made the 2nd Team.

April Mendez and Allison Garza received Honorable Mentions.

Submitted photo SOMBER RECOGNITION: A battlefield cross sculpture is seen against a field of American flags as part of the Arkansas Fallen Heroes Memorial, scheduled to be set up in Hot Springs Village from Oct. 3-9 on Highway 7 north, next to El Padrino restaurant. There will be a motorcycle parade at 11 a.m. Oct. 3, running the length of DeSoto Boulevard, followed by the memorial's opening at noon. Entry to the memorial is free.
