Still Time to Register | Deadline Monday for March primary elections

It may seem like the race for president has been going on for years, but the actual primary elections are just about a month away for Texarkana voters.

The Arkansas and Texas primary elections are Tuesday, March 3, with early voting preceeding. You will have your voice in selecting candidates to run in the November general election.

But you can't vote if you aren't registered. And the deadline for registration is fast approaching.

In Arkansas you must fill out a paper voter registration form. You can go to the County Clerk's office at the Miller County Courthouse to register or, if you prefer, print out a form and mail it in. Go to https://www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections/voter-information/voter-registration-information to download the form.

In Texas, you can register at the Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston or go to https://webservices.sos.state.tx.us/vrapp/index.asp to fill out and print an application to send by mail.

To vote in the upcoming Arkansas or Texas
primaries you must register (or have your mail-in registration form postmarked) by Monday, Feb. 3.

Take time to register and make time to vote.
