Slots of Fun? | Do you support allowing gaming for prizes across Arkansas?

A group called Arcade Arkansas wants to put an initiative on the November ballot that would authorize coin-operated machines - slot-machine style games with some element of skill - to offer points that could be redeemed for merchandise worth up to $5.

While a player couldn't trade the points for cash or booze or cigarettes, they can be used for lottery tickets. The bill would allow 50 licenses with each licensee allowed to distribute 300 machines. So that means a total of 15,000 machines at retail locations across the state.

Do you support allowing these machines in Arkansas? Or are you opposed?

Last Week: Nominee?

Last week's question was about the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. Do you think Joe Biden will be the nominee or Bernie Sanders? Do you think either has a chance to beat President Trump in the November general election?

I think the Democrats are smart enough to rally around whoever gets the nomination. But they MUST go to the polls in November to defeat Donald Trump! - J.W.W., Texarkana, Arkansas

Probably Biden. Although the liberal-Left controls the Democrat Party, and Sanders is further "left" than Biden, they know there is not enough support for this open socialist, (communist), in America - not yet. But, as they continue to brain-wash the young, they have hopes for a Sanders type, in the future. But Biden will due for now, because he has no convictions that hinders the Left from controlling him. - D.H.M., Texarkana, Arkansas

Biden, and no chance at all

What about Tulsi?

Sanders

NO

The DNC will make it Biden and nope not a chance he is loosing it and is just another Hillary situation. Doesn't matter tho we just keep flipping the same coin just opposite sides and get nowhere. It's gonna take something drastic to change it

I think Bernie will get the nomination if the DNC wants to prove it is loyal to it's constituency. I think if voter turn out is high, Bernie will win against Trump by a slim margin, at least by popular vote, but with the electoral college who knows.

Tulsi Gabbord would have been better than either of those clowns. Looks like we get 4 more years ...

Warren stayed in long enough to take some states.from Bernie, silly rabbit.

TRUMP 2020 No questions asked

I voted for Warren and donated to Joe Biden as soon as she dropped out.

I think a Bernie/Hillary ticket has a chance of beating Trump, but Bernie will not get the super delegates needed at the DNC to go forward. I think Biden/Klobuchar or a similar ticket will compete with Trump/Pence.

Biden. Great chance.
