TEXARKANA, Texas - Behind solid pitching and hitting from the Frisco RoughRiders, the Texarkana Twins found themselves down early and couldn't stop the bleeding as they dropped their 10th game in a row in a 12-2 loss on Wednesday night at George Dobson Field in Spring Lake Park.

With the win,  Frisco (14-10) moved to third place in the Texas Collegiate League overall standings and is one game behind of Amarillo and Tulsa.

Texarkana (4-20) was held hitless through the first four innings, only reaching base once during that time when Ricardo Leonett drew a walk in the fourth.

The RoughRiders, however, got out to an early two-run lead in the second inning when Logan Kohler connected on a two-run triple. The Twins would answer back in the fifth with a Cole Chambers double and he would eventually score on a passed ball to make the score, 2-1.

Frisco, which is now on a seven-game winning streak, scored four runs in the sixth inning and six more in the eighth to take a demanding 12-1 lead into the ninth.

Keegan Sueltz scored the Twins' final run of the ninth in the bottom of the ninth after hitting a double in his only at-bat of the game.

Texarkana's Mike Herrera had the start on the mound where he threw 4 1/3 innings and struck out two. Joel Barker, Bret Bowers, Sebastian Romero, Flavio Tirado and Jack Strickland came in relief in the loss.

The Twins look to avoid the sweep today against Frisco on Fan Appreciation Night. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
