GAME FACTS: Tonight is homecoming for Texas High. The Bulldogs have won two in a row, and THS had a 3-game win streak snapped with last week's loss. The Bulldogs have won both previous meetings between the schools, the other during the 2013 playoffs. Senior QB Dillon Markiewicz has help lead North to scoring at least 49 points in every game thus far, and tight end Brandon Frazier and junior receiver J.J. Henry have been big targets for the Bulldogs. Tiger running back Tracy Cooper leads the area in rushes and yardage and has been the catalyst for the Texas High offense, scoring seven TDs. Cooper has 131 carries for 860 yards. Kobe Webster tops the area's list of receivers with 21 catches for 317 yards and four TDs. The Tigers are plus-3 in the turnover ratio with the secondary collecting four interceptions in the first five games. The game will be blogged live at www.texarkanagazette.com/texashigh.

COACH GERRY STANFORD'S COMMENTS: "McKinney North is leading the Dallas/Fort Worth area in offense. They have a senior-heavy team with a lot of experience, and they're playing like it. They don't make a lot of mistakes, they're winning games in different ways each week, and it's going to be a good challenge for us. The biggest part of it is just us improving and getting better this week. We want to see growth from our players, as individuals and as a team."
