PITTSBURG, Texas - Asia Lloyd set the nets ablaze with 22 points as Pleasant Grove crushed Pittsburg, 75-49, in a District 15-4A girls varsity basketball game on Tuesday.
Shanequa Henry scorched the nets for 19 points, Miaya Ware fired in 16 points and Keshawn Davis shot in 10 for the Lady Hawks.
Winter Crouch scored 10 points to lead Pleasant Grove to a 34-20 win in the junior varsity contest.
New Boston 74, Hooks 34
HOOKS, Texas - Chloe Davis lit up the nets for 14 points to lead New Boston to a 74-34 victory over Hooks.
Four other players scored in double digits for the Lady Lions including Tamiya Smith with 12, and Carleigh Reeves, Vicki Burns and Carlee Ratcliff each with 10 points.
Alley Jefferson poured in a game-high 20 points for Hooks.
Fouke 62, Genoa Central 31
FOUKE, Ark. - Fouke hit a total of nine shots from downtown as a team to defeat Genoa Central in a rivalry game, 62-31.
Mallory Oliver had a game-high 27 points, including four treys. Oliver was 5 for 5 from the free-throw line.
Taylor Hardin contributed 12 points, while teammate Jade Perry had nine for the Lady Panthers (19-5).
Jordan McDonald scored seven points for the Lady Dragons, and teammate DJ Rowe added six.
Boys
Fouke 62, Genoa Central 52
Nick Scoggins had a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Panthers over the Dragons in the boys varsity contest.
Seth Phillips poured in 16 points for Fouke (10-13), Kanon Garrett had 11 and Garrison Coker added 10.
Hunter Cigainero had a game-high 24 points for Genoa Central (14-11).
