TEXARKANA, Texas - Tamarcus Gray had the hot hand as he poured in 30 points to lead Liberty-Eylau to a 42-30 victory over Texas Middle School in an eighth grade A boys game at the Tiger Center.
Greg Trotter added nine points for the Leopards.
Camaron Ford scored eight points for Liberty-Eylau in the eighth grade B game, but the Tigers edged the Leopards, 25-24.

Crouch and Coker earn third
KILGORE, Texas - Autumn Crouch and Ellie Coker took home third place in junior varsity girls A doubles in a round robin on Thursday.
Teams competing included Kilgore, Spring Hill, Longview, John Tyler, Elysian Fields, Trinity, Chapel Hill, All Saints, Troph, Lindale and Pleasant Grove.
The Hawks' junior varsity will play at Sulphur Springs on Feb. 25.
