NAPLES-OMAHA, Texas - Celina, a perennial powerhouse in Texas football circles, upended Paul Pewitt, 42-6, in a non-district game Friday night on the Brahmas' home turf.
Pewitt, which is 1-3 after a tough non-district schedule, scored its lone touchdown on a pass from Hayden Green to A'myree Johnson. Green completed 5 of 9 passes for 53 and the one score.
Green was also Pewitt's leading rusher with 61 yards on 13 carries, both team highs on the night. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry.
Jack Morris and Johnson had four tackles each for the Brahmas, with Johnson having an interception. Noah Mayo and Keldrick Hawkins also had a pair of sacks apiece.
