MORRILTON, Ark. Arkansas High travels to Morrilton for a Class 5A playoff football game with a 6-0 record.

Having survived an upset bid by Alma (28-24) last week, the Razorbacks (6-0) focus on the Devil Dogs (4-4). Morrilton beat Hope, 58-14, in the play-in round.

Kickoff between AHS and Morrilton is 7 p.m. at Devil Dog Stadium.

"This will be a tough one; Morrilton has a big, physical football team," Razorback head coach Barry Norton said. "It will be a game that we have to play well in all three phases. We're going to need a good complementary game of football, and if we do that, we'll be OK."

The Devil Dogs average 28.5 points and allow 19.1 points per game. Arkansas High scores 27.7 and gives up just 16.5 points per game.

Torie Blair and Braylon Bishop each scored twice for the Razorbacks against Alma. Bishop caught a 19-yard TD pass from Layton Lammers and also rushed 1 yard for a score. Blair finished with a workhorse effort of 29 rushes for 203 yards, including a 52-yard TD run early in the second half.

"This is going to take a lot cleaner ballgame than we've played our last two outings," Norton said. "It's the playoffs, and every round you advance teams get better and better. We're going to have to be disciplined on defense, and execute on offense and take what the defense gives us."

The winner plays either Maumelle or Wynne in the state quarterfinals next week.

The game will be broadcast on KTFS 105.5 Fm and blogged at texarkanagazette.com/arkansashigh.
