COACH JOSH GIBSON COMMENTS: "We got better as the game went along. If we played a softer schedule, we'd be feeling better right now, but this will make us stronger in the long run. Our kids continue to step up against stiff competition.

"I saw some really good effort by some guys. Victor Shaw, who played both sides of the ball, pursued sideline to sideline. It is hard for the bigger guys to run 30, 40 yards to the sideline on every play. Makyron Whitaker was going sideline to sideline too; that was his best game. Jonah Bates played lights out on the defensive line. I think we have some good growth going there."
