GENOA, Ark. — Undefeated Prescott blasted Genoa Central, 52-0, Friday night at Dragon Stadium.

Alex George and Jaylen Hopson each scored two touchdowns for the Curley Wolves (5-0) in the rout. Hopson finished with 96 yards rushing and also returned a punt 67 yards for a score. His touchdown run came on an 83-yard scamper.

Jacobi Nolen tossed a pair of touchdown passes to Jeff Williams and Jacaylon Zachary for Prescott, which finished with 442 yards total offense, including 269 in the air.

The Wolves led 28-0 at the first break and it ballooned to 45-0 by halftime.

Ashdown edges Nashville

NASHVILLE, Ark. — Ashdown edged Nashville in a crucial Conference 7-4A on the Scrappers' home field, 25-24.

The Panthers and Scrappers have one conference loss apiece.

Another area school, Foreman, posted an important district victory, too. The Gators shutout Murfreesboro, 28-0.

Two other Southwest Arkansas teams were shutout. Glen Rose blanked Fouke, 57-0, and Camden Fairview shut down De Queen, 57-0.
