COACH GERRY STANFORD'S COMMENTS: "Jacksonville has a really accurate quarterback; he's one of the leading stat leaders in East Texas. They have a sophomore receiver, who is considered to be one of the best receivers in the state, they do a great job of spreading the ball around to a lot of different players, and defensively they've played Pine Tree and Nacogdoches to the bitter end.
"They have a tenacity on defense and give opponents a lot of different fronts and coverages, causing some confusion."
