Rocky Creek Outdoors USA is a place where shooters of various kinds can practice and compete in recreational shooting sports.

"This range was established to encourage shooting sports," said Lance Keen, director of operations. "We especially highlight shooting clays, five-stand, trap and skeet. In addition, we have shooting lanes for rifle and pistol. We also have archery ranges. We even feature axe throwing."

Since its opening in 2018, the 120-acre area on South State Line Avenue has hosted many events.

Rocky Creek Outdoors USA is owned by Troy Nipper.

"We have many events throughout the year," said Keen. "If you are looking to compete against shootings across the Four States Area and even further, come to our events. High school shooting teams compete on our ranges. We hold various fundraising events. And we have various official competitions, including Amateur Trap Association (ATA) as well as Registered National Sporting Clay (NSCA) events."

That is not all. Rocky Creek is preparing another event in October.

"In the fall, we will hold our first outdoor expo for rifle and pistol," he said. "This will be a new event for our range."

To enable this facility and all these events to go off smoothly, Rocky Creek Outdoors USA boasts a full staff, 24-7 operations for members and more.

"We have night shoots as well as other events for our members," said Keen. "In addition, besides our shooting ranges, we offer a clubhouse and conference room for events. We have grills on site for cooking. And we have fire pits for social gatherings. Lots of possibilities with our facilities, in addition to the support we offer for shooting activities."

Besides the shooting fun and socializing, Rocky Creek Outdoors USA helps out with various community support activities.

"One of our annual highlights is our Pull For Heroes shooting event, in support of local first responders," said Keen. "We have that one in early spring. Also, law enforcement agencies often train out here. Some come from a long way to train, such as a group of officers from Washington state who came out here to do riot control training in a controlled environment."
