Ashdown High alumni banquet set for Sept. 14
The 13th annual Ashdown High School Alumni Association Banquet will be held Sept. 14 in the school's Ashdown High School cafeteria.
The 1965 AHS co-valedictorian Dr. Tom Fomby will the honored guest.
Tickets will be sold through 12 p.m. Sept. 2 and are $30 per person, which includes $10 in alumni dues for the coming year. Tables of eight are also available. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Individual tickets can be purchased at Castle Antiques at 120 Rankin St., and from Sandra Shackelford Furlow or Susan Simmons.
Those wishing to purchase a table of eight should contact Diane McLarty to get a form. The table will be reserved when the information form and $240 is submitted. Checks should be made payable to AHS Alumni Association.
This will be a special evening for the Class of 1969, as they will be celebrating their 50th graduation anniversaries.
