HOPE, Ark. - Senior Care Marketing Alliance will sponsor the Senior Fall Festival Health Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at Hempstead Hall, 2500 S. Main St.
Available services include the Wadley Scan Van, along with blood sugar and cholesterol screenings. Hope Evening Lions Club and the Civitan Club are sponsoring 14 free screenings for people who need the service by can't afford it. To schedule an appointment, call 870-722-3945.
The event also will feature door prizes, bingo and free lunch. Additional sponsors include Tyson Foods, Chicken Express, Kindred at Home, Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton and deputies and Tom Bean Bank.
The Central Arkansas Development Council will provie free transportation at 9 a.m. Pick-up locations include Hope Senior Center, Kelly Homes and the Unity Church parking lot.
