Activity around town always brings about interest in what's going on.

A new business may be coming or a citizen group may be working to create an event for public benefit.

Recently in Atlanta, Texas, Chad and Angela Autrey were moving their Rocking A Western Store and Boutique business into their new location at the corner of East Main and William streets.

A block or so away on East Hiram, Robert Shields and his helpers were constructing the interior carpentry to make an office location for Lone Star Title.

Over in Linden, Texas, Gary Clayton and Bruce Legrow were using their furniture-making skills to build a bench for the local tennis courts. The bench would be a restful place for the players. It's painted a deep blue to go along with the local Linden-Kildare schools' colors.

On the nearby basketball court, city employees and officials were using their skills up in the sky to install lights.

Each activity represents the spirit and confidence of citizens to make their community better.
