No injuries after small airplane crashes in Southeast Oklahoma

IDABEL, Okla. - Two men walked away uninjured after a small airplane crashed Wednesday near Idabel In McCurtain County.

The small plane carrying two people struck power lines about 5:47 p.m. and crashed near Brinkley Auction on the Highway 70 bypass in Idabel, according to the Idabel Fire Department.

Neither of the men were injured. Oklahoma Highway Patrol also responded to the crash.

The crash knocked out power to much of the area, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
