It's hot and humid but Evan Wicks, 6, and his sister Elizabeth, 4, are happily visiting the Atlanta Public Library, which has air conditioning. Everyone is welcomed by these flourishing flowers in the garden outside by the building's nameplate. They are maintained by a Friends of the Library volunteer who prefers to remain anonymous.
