De QUEEN, Arkansas - The De Queen/SevierCounty Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a reverse Christmas parade for Dec. 5.
The event will be at 6 p.m. at Herman Dierks Park. The floats will be stationary and people will stay in their vehicles as they drive through the park. The event has been organized to keep everyone safe from COVID-19, according to the Chamber of
Commerce.
Categories include religious, commercial, antique vehicle and people's choice. Prize money will be awarded in the amount of $100 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third. The deadline to sign up for a display is Dec. 1 and participating groups can register by phone at 584-3225, by emailing [email protected] or via the Google doc featured on the chamber's Facebook
