Commissioners Court meets about sale of county property

NEW BOSTON, Texas - The sale of real property acquired by Bowie County owing to delinquent tax payments will be one of the issues discussed at the Bowie County Commissioners Court meeting at 9 a.m. today.

Commissioners will meet inside their second-floor courthouse gathering room to consider the sale of at least six pieces of real estate, collectively worth about $7,500 to $8,000 and located in the McCormick Heights, Beverly Heights, Connor Heights and Highland Park additions of Texarkana, Texas. Some of the property is also located in the Wagnon Estates and Crestview Estates area.

In other business, the court will also consider approving having county employees enroll in the Texas Association of Counties Cybersecurity training.
