Two men arrested in connection with shooting death of Idabel woman

IDABEL, Okla. Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a local woman.

Stephanie Iglehart, 30, was caught in the crossfire and shot during a dispute between William Wright, 23, and Jordan Bryant, 25, according to a new release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

She died from her injuries.

On Monday, the Idabel Police Department requested assistance from the OSBI with a shooting at Booker T. Washington Park in Idabel. Wright allegedly went to the park with his girlfriend, Iglehart, to fight Bryant, according to the news release.

Iglehart and Bryant had been allegedly arguing on social media because Iglehart believed that Bryant had stolen from her house. During the altercation, Wright and Bryant began shooting at each other and Iglehart was wounded in the crossfire, according to the press release.

Wright transported her to McCurtain Memorial Hospital where she died.

Wright and Bryant were both arrested by Idabel Police Department and taken to the McCurtain County jail. They are facing charges in connection with Iglehart's death. Those charges will be determined by the District Attorney's Office, according to the news release.
