Area firefighters and first responders turned out in final support of one of their own on Friday.
Danny Joe Hurt, 63, of Bloomburg, Texas, had long been a teacher of fire classes and a volunteer fire department member of Emergency Service District 3 centered at Smyrna, Texas.
