The Central Arkansas Development Council is taking applications for its Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
The program is for electric bill assistance only and funds are first come first served. The council began accepting applications Monday.
The CADC includes Miller, Little River, Sevier, Lafayette, Hempstead, Howard and Nevada counties. Anyone needing to know the location of their local office can call 501-326-6229.
Applicants should submit the following:
- Photo ID
- Social Security Card of the applicant
- Social Security numbers all household members
- Proof of Income
- Copies of most recent utility bills
Applicants can view the eligibility chart on the LIHEAP website.
