Texarkana, Texas, firefighters are still investigating what caused a Silverado pickup's engine to catch fire early Sunday evening and burn the vehicle in the 4500 block of North State Line Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the blaze shortly before 7 p.m. outside the Orr Volkswagen dealership, but they had the fire under control shortly before 7:30 p.m., said Texas-side Battalion Chief Allan Sikes.
Firefighters reported that the truck only had one occupant at the time of the blaze but no injuries were
sustained.
Sikes added that determining the origin and cause of the fire might not be possible since so much of the truck's engine suffered fire damage.
