It takes a bit of trust to let someone use beauty tools on your lashes and brows, working that close to your eyes.

It takes even more to allow someone to make the equivalent of semi-permanent tattoos there.

But those are just the sorts of things the owner and operator of Tiffany Studio, Tiffany Pham, does. And she is so good at it, she has fans who have followed her through four different shops, including her current one. That kind of loyalty is earned.

"I've been running shops for 13 years," said Pham, who came to Texarkana in 2008, then opened her first shop shortly thereafter. "Nails, lashes, brows, permanent makeup, I do all that. It took time to figure out just what sort of shop I wanted to run, and now I focus on this."

"I've been following her for those 13 years," said Shanequa Fort, one of those longtime, loyal customers. "She does what I want her to do; she knows what I like. It is a bond, like we grew together."

Others have similar experiences.

"This kind of customer service is rare," said Terri Whitt, teacher and administrator at Opportunities Early Head Start School, and a customer of Pham's since 2009. "Tiffany is friendly, makes her customers happy, gives great product and value for the money. I've seen her evolve over time, get better and better. She makes me comfortable with individualized attention and I know she will do a great job."

"I've also been an on-and-off customer for years," said Jalisa Kirk. "She is great on eyelashes in a way not everyone can do."

One customer gets off the couch and another gets on and Pham talks to her to see what she needs, then produces the tools to do the work.

"I just do my best, take my time. I do my best, they come back," Pham said. "I'm a bit obsessive with details and my standards are high."

The shop is located in the 3600 block of Robison Road.
