The deadline is near for voting for the Reader's Digest Nicest Places contest.

Get your vote in by July 21 and let the nation know that Texarkana is indeed, the nicest city in America.

For the third year in a row, Reader's Digest has undertaken an effort to find out which towns in each state have the kindest people who treat each other with respect.

Because Texarkana, in its uniqueness, straddles the state line of Texas and Arkansas, it ended up representing both states in the list. But the contest is not yet done.

Locals have three days left to vote.

Reader's Digest wants you to help them figure out the top ten nicest cities and the nicest of them all will get a cover feature.

To vote, go to https://www.rd.com/nicest-places-contest/ and vote for your hometown. Get your vote in by July 21st and let the nation know that Texarkana is indeed the nicest city in America.
