story.lead_photo.caption A head-on collision Tuesday morning on New Boston Road between two vehicles resulted in nonlife-threatening injuries in Texarkana. A white Ford F-250 truck, driven by Adrian Hill, 23, of Shreveport, La., was westbound on New Boston Road, according to Shawn Vaughn, Texarkana, Texas, Police Department spokesman. Hill tried to avoid a crash with a vehicle in front of him that slammed on its brakes. As a result, Hill swerved into the path of an eastbound black F-150 and struck it head on. That black truck was driven by Bobby Bathelor Sr., 86, of DeKalb, Texas. Bathelor suffered a broken leg in the crash, and his 72-year-old female passenger sustained seatbelt burns and lacerations from breaking glass, according to Vaughn. Hill had two adult passengers with him, one of whom was cited for not wearing his seatbelt. Photo by Hunt Mercier / Texarkana Gazette.
