ASHDOWN, Ark.—Police and emergency crews in Little River County are working a fatal three-vehicle accident in which one man was killed in front of Domtar Mill on U.S. Highway 71.

Harrison Neal, 51, of Texarkana was the victim, according a preliminary report by Arkansas State Police.

The accident between an 18-wheeler and two other vehicles happened at 3:04 p.m.; according to information from the Little River Sheriff's Office. Traffic was backed up in all four lanes of the highway at one point. Traffic in southbound lanes was reported to be moving by 5 p.m.

Little River Sheriff's Office, Ashdown Police and Arkansas State Police all responded to the accident along with local fire departments.
