TEXARKANA, Ark. - The Miller County courthouse in Texarkana, Arkansas, is now closed to the public because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

An official in the office of Miller County Judge Cathy Harrison said the courthouse will be open for business remotely via phone, digitally and fax. Harrison said earlier this week that the building would remain open though visitors would be required to have their temperatures taken and respond to questions about travel before entering.

Harrison is expected to make an official announcement regarding the closing this afternoon.
